At the 2022 Oscars, Chris Rock was smacked in the face by none other than Will Smith.
Smith came up on stage at the Dolby Theater and punched Rock in the face after Rock remarked that he couldn’t wait to see Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith in “GI Jane 2.”
For many seconds, the audio was cut and edited, but subtitles claimed that the “King Richard” star stated, “keep my wife’s name out of your f–king mouth.”
Rock had poked fun at Pinkett being in the fake-action flick because of her bald head before Smith whopped the comedian’s behind.
She had previously mentioned having alopecia, a hair loss ailment.
“I had no idea this year would be the most thrilling Oscar ever,” Sean said. “Diddy,” remarked Combs later. “Will and Chris, we’re going to fix it like family at the goal party right now, we’re moving on with love,” says Will.
