My boyfriend and I just moved into our first place together. It’s a studio connected to a main house on a large ranch. The landlord lives in the house with her husband and adult kids. I’m all about body positivity and feminism. For about a year now I’ve stopped wearing bras because they’re extremely uncomfortable for me due to a physical disability.

Our landlord told my boyfriend that it was disrespectful of me to not wear a bra especially around her husband (ew) and to “cover up”. She said this as I was wearing a t-shirt, nothing even inappropriate. I do have large breasts and bras make them even more pronounced.

I talked to her directly and she said to wear a tank top or something under my clothes, but I don’t want to make myself even more uncomfortable just to please her. What should I do? I need some advice on if I’m wrong.
